Hastings Street runs north through Williamsport as a two-lane one-way street. There is a traffic light at Central Avenue.

There is a traffic light at Southern Avenue (PA 654). Turn left to go west. To reach PA 554, turn left here and then left again to head back south on US 15 for a short distance.

Hastings Street merges together with Market Street to form a two-way roadway. There is a bridge over the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. On the other side, there is an interchange with I-180/US 220. Turn right to go east. Turn left to go west and to stay on US 15. Market Street continues straight ahead as a local street into the downtown area of Williamsport.

After splitting off from I-180/US 220, US 15 is an expressway from here to the state line. This section will become part of I-99 once the section of US 220 just south of here is upgraded to interstate standards. Exit 136 is for Third Street.
